Continuum

Antagonist(s?) #2(and 3 I guess)

Drogg and Kuda. Drogg is the little troll on the big guy's arm. The big guy is Kuda, a bugbear(offspring of a troll and an ogre). Drogg and Kuda are half brothers(same mother); Drogg being the older sibling, and the one in charge. They're thugs, for a lack of a better term, and in the employment of Cornelius.
Drogg. The older brother and a full blooded troll. Nothing really special about this guy he's just a troll. Nasty, maniacal, calculating, deceptively smart, hard to perminantly hurt, hard to kill and keep dead. The only thing really special about this troll is that alchohal makes him into a 10 foot tall mutant with acidic blood that spits fire. Drogg enjoys employment by Cornelius. As long as he does as the elf says, he can do pretty much as he pleases. He abuses this, and Cornelius' credo, as much as trolly possible.

Kuda(bad scan but its the only one I've got at the moment). The younger brother out of the two, incredibly tall, strong and very tough. His skin and fracture pretty much any kind of weapon. Bugbears are(if possible) hated even more by their own half races than by humanity, so Kuda respects Cornelius for his credo, although he probably wouldn't be working for Cornelius if Drogg wasn't bullying him into it. Kuda is soft spoken, and slow, not unintelligent; it just takes him longer to reach conclusions than most. Undeniably, Kuda is the power behind Cornelius' hired thugs.

Story time!

Every once and a while, stories in my head just demand to be brought into life. I've had one particular story, involving the end of the world and a mass contest to save it(gotta love mythical influences; the world could quite possibly end! You! Humans! FIGHT TO THE DEATH!!). Heroes can be quite passe, especially if they do not have some sort of stylish opposition.

With that in mind, herin for the next few posts will be VILLANS! Because there is no worthy story without worthy badguys.

Antagonist #1.

This is Cornelius Silverspider. He's the regent lord of Trelis City, trade capital and most important city-state in the World. He's an brilliant politician and therefore a right proper douchebag. He's leading a push to allow the fae races more respect among humanity. Aka, trolls, ogres, elves, and gnomes are all just growth defects like elephantitis, giantism and dwarfism. Trelis holds social hegemony. This mandate odd since Cornelius himself is an elf. Many other fae oppose him, and seek why he has adopted this self-hating notion. Most of them die, silently and forgotten. Many more have adopted his ideology and even more are even payed by him to keep his city 'safe'.

What are his motives? Who knows? But as it stands, he has world power, very tight protection by the nastier races(who are now socially acceptable, since all of their flaws are concidered to be genetic defects), and is very, very wealthy.

Sketches and stuff

This is actually a little non-descrept scene from an idea for another comic I had a while back. But I've put it on hold until I develop a little more. Would be considered a spoiler if the story was live. This is one of the main characters, Ashriel, and it looks like he's been knocked around a lot. Also, I like tattoos.

In addition! Found something I think I'm going to color later.

She's a jackalope. See? Little horns. You love it, you know you do!

Dragon Sketch

Rough sketch of my five dragon god brothers, in their dragon forms, with the World. At one point, this was the first page of a comic idea. Set on the back burner. I can never quite seem to get all the details to lay straight the way I want them to. Building a universe is hard business you know? I absolutely adore this picture. Just looking at this reminds me how far these guys have developed. Early developmental days, way back when, the dragons were exactly the same; the only thing differentiating them was the names. And back then, there were only five. Lately, I've been trying to distinguish them also by regional dragon legends too.

Clockwise starting from the top left they are Wrala, Frithra, Eron, Vargun and Arashii.

Insomnia, new ideas, and pretty cows

Can't sleep. Not entirely sure what's causing it this time, but heck, what better a time to randomly post stuff on the web? I've been toying with the idea of putting up a sketch blog for some time and finally decided to go ahead with it. To christen the blog, here's a sketch of a cow. She's putting on make-up.

And here she is in color. An experiment with flat colors and Flash.
